HOT YOGA

Our 36° Hot Yoga Studio uses Far Infrared heat & a smart air exchange system to keeps the air fresh & oxygenated

  • This class uses passive postures held for longer periods of time to allow for deep opening in the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine, intensified within the therapeutic heat of our far infrared hot room. When you feel the need to recharge yourself, this class will provide a soothing respite. It is also an excellent choice for students suffering from chronic illness. Suitable for all levels including beginner.

Enjoy the rotation of our special live musicians, Nicole Haverda, Todd Koga, Brian James, Ali Khan or Jess Ayre, during the Live Music Friday evening Hot Yin class.

  • Combining yang style postures (strength, balance, heat building) and passive yin style postures held longer, allowing for warming of the muscles and deep opening in the connective tissue of hips, pelvis and spine. A good class choice for beginners, those with limited mobility or injury.

  • Do you ever feel like you're in a hurry? Rushing to make it to your favourite yoga class on time?

In Slow Flow you are precisely where you need to be. Settle into stillness. Connect to the flow of your breath, then move with conscious intention & self love.

This class is a slowing down of our flow sequencing and a slowing down of our very stimulated minds and nervous systems as we find both sweetness and challenge in movement & mindfulness.

  • Use breath as the primary link between integration of body and mind. A cardiovascular & dynamic practice that will strengthen your body and build technique for safe and fluid transitions between poses. A good base class in preparation for the following hot class options.

  • This class includes a base of core strengthening exercises with each subsequent posture preparing the body for the next. Students will gain strength, flexibility, and balance. The class is challenging but suitable for all levels. Enjoy the exploration of the relationship your centre, or core, as each teacher interprets.

  • Students are guided through a portion of the Ashtanga Vinyasa series... in the hot room! Breath & posture are linked in a continuous flow or vinyasa, developing internal heat. A strong style of yoga building stamina, strength and flexibility.

All levels welcome - you’ll notice that many students appear to know what they’re doing :) Because Ashtanga is a set sequence (variations dependent on time and who shows up), you’ll become more and more familiar each time you come to class!

  • Challenge yourself with this dynamic flowing class that will introduce more complex poses such as binds, arm balances and inversions. Appropriate if you are physically active and comfortable with basic yoga postures but all levels are welcome - just be sure to take simpler options given and rest when needed.
